At the red carpet, the host asked Deepika to pick the best qualities of her contemporaries and describe them in not more than a few words. This is such a sweet example of actresses not indulging in cat fights with their contemporaries, but in fact, sharing an amicable bond with each other. Also, not to forget that Deepika, Katrina, Alia and Anushka share an ‘EX’ factor in common. But, the ladies are very happy in their respective personal lives, letting bygones be bygones.
On the film front, Deepika was last seen in SLB’s Padmaavat opposite Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Next, she will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak in the role of an acid attack survivor. The movie is based on real life story of Laxmi Agarwal. Pictures and videos from the sets are all around the web. Deepika looks quite convincing in the get-up with prosthetics. Chhapaak also stars Vikrant Massey in a pivotal part.
